You can change your password, once you are logged on to MitID
Your password is an important part of maintaining MitID security. It is important that you use a strong password and at the same time a password you can remember.
It is a good idea to change your password regularly. If your password has been blocked, we recommend that you renew your password as soon as possible.
If you have forgotten your password, you need a new one. You can create a new password on MitID.dk if you have MitID app and if you are able to log on.
If you cannot log on to MitID.dk, you must contact MitID support or visit Citizen Service.
You can change your password, once you are logged on to MitID.dk from your profile page. Remember you can log on to MitID.dk without password, if you are using the MitID app.
Find the password section and select “EDIT PASSWORD”.
If you have entered your password incorrectly too many times, it will be blocked.
